In 1957 Antonio Sanchez-Migallon lost his eyesight because of a chemical accident. He got on with his life and got married and had kids. But 43 years later a doctor found a way to restore his sight. He was able to see four of his kids and all 22 of his grandchildren. He was able to see his wife\u2019s face.<\/p>\n
He liked everything he saw except for the image in the mirror. He said, \u201cI thought I would look better. I look really ugly and old!\u201d [1]<\/p>\n
It is different when Jesus restores our sight. He helps us to see ourselves as we will be – cleansed and glorified – and not as we are now. All of us look ugly and decrepit in our old nature but God has better things in store for us through a relationship with Jesus.<\/p>\n
