Truth or consequences.<\/p>\n<p>    II. Deception is on a roll.<br \/>\n         A. For my generation, especially evident in politics.<br \/>\n         B. This generation is no better.<\/p>\n<p>   III. Acceptable to lie sometimes?<br \/>\n         A. Categorizing lies.<br \/>\n         B. Implication: lies for a good purpose are morally acceptable.<\/p>\n<p>    IV. The truth is always a better idea.<br \/>\n         A. The Bible unequivocally denounces lies and liars.<br \/>\n             1) Sixth commandment: &#8220;Don&#8217;t bear false witness.&#8221;    Deut 5:20<br \/>\n             2) The Apostle Paul: Speak truthfully to neighbor.   Eph 4:25<br \/>\n             3) Book of Revelation: No liars in heaven.           Rev 22:15<br \/>\n         B. The testimony of theologians Augustine, Wesley, Theilicke.<\/p>\n<p>     V.
