He proceeded to walk down into the water and stood next to the preacher.<\/p>\n<p>The minister turned and noticed the old drunk and said, \u201cMister, Are you ready to find Jesus?\u201d  The drunk looks back and says, \u201cYes, Preacher.  I sure am.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The minister then dunked the fellow under the water and pulled him right back up.  \u201cHave you found Jesus?\u201d the preacher asks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo, I didn\u2019t!\u201d says the drunk.<\/p>\n<p>The preacher then dunks him under for quite a bit longer, brings him up and says, \u201cNow, brother, have you found Jesus?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo, I did not, Preacher.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The preacher in disgust holds the man under for at least 30 seconds this time brings him out of the water and says in a harsh tone, \u201cFriend, are you sure you haven\u2019t found Jesus yet?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The old drunk wipes his eyes and says to the preacher&#8230;\u201dAre you sure this is where he fell in?\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A drunk stumbled along a baptismal service on Sunday afternoon down by the river.
