The right question today is what must I do to inherit eternal life? Jesus told the rich young ruler to turn your back on everything and give your heart to me.<\/p>\n
There\u2019s someone in this room today, an adult, and senior adult, a teenager, perhaps even a visitor who has never really known the Lord Jesus Christ as his\/her savior. You\u2019re not here by accident today. God brought you here by divine appointment. And he brought you here that today you might receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal savior. When we give the invitation in a few moments it going to be important for you to do the right thing.<\/p>\n
Come to Christ! He\u2019s the only one who can make your life right. I invite you today to just give your heart to him and to be bold about it.<\/p>\n
I want to invite every adult and young person in this room to look inside of his and her heart right now and ask yourself this question; \u201cIf I died today, where would I spend eternity?\u201d<\/p>\n
I\u2019m going to ask you to bow your heads and stand in just a moment in an attitude of prayer. While heads are bowed and eyes are closed I\u2019m going to ask no one, youth or adult to be looking around. And while we are all in a spirit of prayer I want to ask: \u201cHow many of you can say today I know that I\u2019m saved? If I died today I\u2019d go to heaven. Jesus Christ lives in my heart, I have accepted him as my personal savior. Would you lift your hand to indicate quickly please. God bless you!<\/p>\n
Many of you could not raise your hands. How many of you would say, Preacher I want to be a Christian. I want to ask the Lord to come in. Pray for me that I\u2019ll get saved, that I\u2019ll know the Lord, that I\u2019ll go to heaven when I die. Would you just lift your hand and say, Pray for me preacher. God bless you.<\/p>\n
Prayer: \u201cDear God, many hands went up today saying \u201cI\u2019m saved and I know it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Thank you Lord for every hand. But Lord there are others here that said, \u201cI\u2019m not saved, pray for me.\u201d<\/p>\n
And right now I do pray for them Lord. I pray for them that they will not leave the church lost! Help the individuals to know that when this invitation is given in just a moment that they have the opportunity to come to Jesus. Father, take this invita- tion and save every lost person and I pray especially for those who raised their hands. I asked that they would be saved in this service.
