She has her own class each week.  He mentioned capital punishment.  \u201cI\u2019m against capital punishment,\u201d she said.  \u201cI cannot imagine anyone claiming to be a man of God who believes in capital punishment.  Why on earth would you believe in capital punishment?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVery simple reason,\u201d he said.  The ONLY society that God ever established on earth and ruled directly on earth &#8230; in that society, for the BENEFIT of that society, He established capital punishment.  I can give you the verses.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would be very happy to hear the verses,\u201d she said.  \u201cBut let me say I would first have to go to the Holy Spirit and see how He would lead ME on the subject.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Do you realize what she was saying?  No matter what I HEAR, it\u2019s what I THINK.  Even if God in His word did, in fact, establish capital punishment, I would first ask the Holy Spirit for myself whether capital punishment is right, as though the Holy Spirit would contradict God the Father.
