Religion alone can&#8217;t hack it.<br \/>\n        A. Israelites went at religion in a big way.           1:11-13<br \/>\n        B. In the strongest possible terms, God was fed up.    1:14-15<\/p>\n<p>  III. Why did God reject holidays?<br \/>\n        A. Did the prophets reject religion, accepting only personal faith?<br \/>\n        B. Often it seems as if we have no faith, or religion.<\/p>\n<p>   IV. Beyond sentimentalities.<br \/>\n        A. Thanksgiving is a favorite holiday, remarkably unsullied.<br \/>\n        B. The blessings are ours, we earned them!<\/p>\n<p>    V. Preparing yourself for good thanksgiving.                     1:17<br \/>\n        A. Learn to do right.<br \/>\n        B. Seek justice.<br \/>\n        C. Encourage and defend the oppressed, fatherless, widows.<\/p>\n<p>   VI. Thankful for cleansing.<br \/>\n        A. God is reasonable.<br \/>\n        B. God can make us clean, though we are dirty.               1:18<br \/>\n        C.
