\n A. Be a ready listener and don’t answer until the other has finished.

\n B. Be slow to speak. Think first. Speak as to be understood.

\n C. Speak the truth always but do it in love. Do not exaggerate.
\n Eph 4:15,25; Col 3:9
\n D. Do not use silence to frustrate the other person. 1 Sam 25:3
\n E. Do not become involved in quarrels. It is possible to disagree
\n without quarreling. Prov 17:14; 20:3; Rom 13:13; Eph 4:31
\n F. Do not respond in anger. Use a soft and kind response.

\n G. When you are in the wrong, admit it and ask for forgiveness.

\n I. Do not blame or criticize the other person.

III. Goal of communication is to discover what the other person is about.
\n A. There are at least 5 levels of communication.
\n B. Intimate communication leads to closeness in all other areas.<\/p>\n
IV. Human communication parallels spiritual communication.<\/p>\n
