Dean Bishop said, describing an incident in Milton, W.Va., that police were called to.  When they arrived, they saw Loretta Armstrong, 48, allegedly beating her youngest son.  They tried to take her into custody, but she broke free.  \u201cAll in all, from the moment we arrested her, to the time we finished the arrest, was about three hours,\u201d Bishop said.  \u201cDuring those three hours, she didn\u2019t settle down the whole time.\u201d  Armstrong was charged with felony child abuse and three misdemeanors.<\/p>\n<p>The reason for beating her son: the child had ordered the wrong toppings on her burrito.  \u201cThere\u2019s a difference between spanking your kid and punching your child in the face,\u201d Bishop said.  \u201cThere\u2019s no sense in ever getting into an argument like that over a burrito \u2014 just let it go.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But Armstrong\u2019s oldest son defended his mother, saying she is \u201ca churchgoing woman who wouldn\u2019t hurt a fly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>________<\/p>\n<p>WCHS Charleston<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Make a Run for the Border: \u201cThe mother was hitting her child in the face,\u201d Cpl.
