He has a tattoo on the inside of his wrist that says \u201cSalvation from the cross\u201d in Latin.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a little troublesome now when people ask me.  I tell them and they go, \u2018Oh, you\u2019re a Christian,\u2019 and I try to skirt the issue now.  They go, \u2018What does that mean?\u2019 and it\u2019s like, \u201cIt\u2019s Latin for \u2018I made a mistake when I was 18.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I first got the tattoo I remember thinking, \u2018Oh, this will be great because when I\u2019m having troubles in my faith I will be able to look at it, and I can\u2019t run away from it.\u2019  And that is exactly what is happening.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t [believe in God] but I really want to.  That\u2019s the problem with questions like these is you don\u2019t have anything that clearly states, \u2018Yes, this is fact,\u2019 so I\u2019m constantly struggling.  But looking right at the facts \u2014 evolution and science \u2014 they\u2019re saying, no there is none.  But what about love?  What about the ideas of forgiveness?  I like to believe they are true and they are meaningful.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think having a God would create a meaning for our lives, like we\u2019re working toward a purpose \u2014 and it\u2019s all worthwhile because at the end of the day we will maybe move on to another life where everything is beautiful.
