Yesterday noon at a Bob Evan\u2019s Restaurant, a family of six had good size meals. Since their table was next to ours, it was easy to notice that they only left a dollar tip. I felt terribly sorry for the waitress who had worked so hard to serve them. In fact, if she hadn\u2019t picked it up so quickly, I would have quietly laid a couple more dollors on top of that one \u2014 that\u2019s how badly I felt for her.<\/p>\n
As I left the restaurant, thinking about that, I started feeling sorry for God, because many folks seem to treat him the same way \u2014 give a meager tip instead of a tithe or at least a meaningful offering. I don\u2019t mean to meddle \u2014 I\u2019m just telling you that I feel sorry for God.<\/p>\n
We love to sing that old chorus, \u201cAfter all He\u2019s done for me, After all He\u2019s done for me, how can I do less than give Him my best and live for Him completely \u2014 After all He\u2019s done for me.\u201d For me, my best means more than just a tip. It does for you, too, doesn\u2019t it? Please tell me it does.<\/p>\n
Malachi 3:8 (nlt) says, \u201cShould people cheat God? Yet you have cheated me. But you ask, \u2018What do you mean?
