Seven steps to H.A.R.M.O.N.Y.<\/p>\n
1. Hold back judgment on disputable matters. Romans 14:1
\n a) People are more important than issues.
\n b) Accept them!<\/p>\n
2. Avoid looking down on those you disagree with. 14:2-4
\n a) Remember that God has accepted them, even if you don’t.<\/p>\n
3. Realize that we must live for the Lord alone. 14:4-10
\n a) Even those we disagree with may have positive spiritual
\n reasons for what they are doing. 14:5-6
\n b) In the end, they will answer to God and not to us.
\n c) We will answer to God, too.<\/p>\n
4. Make sure you don’t trip others up. 14:13
\n a) They must be allowed to live by their convictions.
\n b) Don’t let your maturity destroy someone else.<\/p>\n
5. Only do what leads to peace and mutual edification. 14:19
\n a) Always act in love.<\/p>\n
6. Never put your preferences over people. 14:20-21<\/p>\n
7. Yield to your neighbor for their good. 15:2<\/p>\n
