Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., spoke to the crowd on keeping hope in God&#8217;s plan:<\/p>\n<p>   I know that you are asking today,<br \/>\n      &#8220;How long will it take?&#8221;<br \/>\n   I come to say to you this afternoon,<br \/>\n      however difficult the moment,<br \/>\n      however frustrating the hour,<br \/>\n   It will not be long,<br \/>\n      because truth pressed to earth will rise again.<\/p>\n<p>   How long?<br \/>\n      Not long, because no lie can live forever.<br \/>\n   How long?<br \/>\n      Not long, because you still reap what you sow.<br \/>\n   How long?<br \/>\n      Not long, because the arm of the moral universe is long<br \/>\n          but it bends toward justice.<\/p>\n<p>   How long?<br \/>\n      Not long, &#8217;cause mine eyes have seen the glory of the<br \/>\n          coming of the Lord,<br \/>\n      Trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath<br \/>\n          are stored.<br \/>\n      He has loosed the fateful lightning of his terrible<br \/>\n          swift sword.<br \/>\n      His truth is marching on.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At the conclusion of the Civil Rights march to Selma, everyone was scarred and weary.
