Who Is Responsible For Killer Squirrels?

Marcy Meckler stepped out of Tiffany’s at a mall in Skokie, Illinois, and was attacked by a squirrel. It jumped up and attached itself to her leg, and as she frantically tried to shake it off, she fell and injured herself. The nature of her injuries is not given, but she believes the pain and suffering are worth a minimum of $50,000, which the mall should pay.

You see, the mall was aware of the squirrel, knew it had a tendency to attack people, but had not gotten rid of it. As a matter of fact, some employees were rumored to feed it. Even if the mall had not exterminated the squirrel, it should have warned customers of its dangerous presence.

Randy Cassingham comments: “We share this planet with other living things. If we killed everything else to keep from inconveniencing petty, spoiled brats who spend their days buying bling, the planet would wither and die. So we deal with it if we want to go out in the world.”
