The key to the mystery of strength in weakness is the Cross of Christ. We are not fatalistic. Life has a paradoxical doubleness to it.
Three varieties of weakness:
1. Weakness of being second fiddle. Servanthood.
2. Weakness of being creatures.
3. Weakness of sin and its effects. We do not have to accept the “dark side.”
Strength comes from the attitude, “Thy will be done.”
