Islam is one of the fastest-growing religions in America and, surprisingly, the September 11 attack has accelerated the conversions.
An Islamic missionary site listed on Yahoo claims that according to “The Almanac Book of Facts”, the world population increased 137% within the past decade. Christianity increased 46%, while Islam increased 235%.
[Holwick – I am certain the growth has not been in the last DECADE or the world would be very crowded, very quickly. “Century” would be more like it. Apparently Islamic missionaries can be as prone to exaggeration as their Christian counterparts!]
