A minister was reaching the conclusion of a Bible Study on divorce. Closing his Bible, he said, “Finally, brothers and sisters, I would like to commend to you the attitude of sister Ruth who is present with us tonight. After our last Bible Study, she told me that not once, in twenty-five years of marriage, has she contemplated divorce.”
“Not divorce, Reverend,” chipped in sister Ruth. “But by golly, there have been so many times during those 25 years that I’ve seriously considered MURDER!”
