Responsibility In God’s Family

We be brethren. — Genesis 13:8.
Do good unto all men, especially unto them, who are of the household of faith. — Galatians 6:10.

Converts to Christ are members of God’s family, born again into it. In the clearest sense we are brothers and sisters in Christ. This brings the blessing of the knowledge of world-wide relationship. Like every blessing there is the corresponding responsibility to treat fellow Christians as family members. Let us consider this in all our actions and associations with the people of God. — C. F. Bundy.

I met a slender, little maid,
a rosy burden bearing;
“Is it not heavy, dear?” I said,
as past me she was hurrying.
She looked at me with grave, sweet eyes,
this fragile, little mother;
She answered as in swift surprise,
“Oh, no, sir; it’s my brother.”
