Cuba’s dictator Fidel Castro loved to talk. He gave a speech before the United Nations that lasted 4 hours, and one in Cuba that went on for 7 hours and 10 minutes.[1]

Radio personality Tavis Smiley visited Cuba in 1998 and had an impromptu interview with Castro. Smiley said it went on for hours and he only got about six questions in. Castro never seemed to come up for air. When Smiley tried to interrupt him, Castro wagged his finger at him and kept on talking.[2]

Probably only you love your own voice. Let others share their words, too. Listening well is one of the greatest talents of a good communicator.
Ecclesiastes 5:2
“Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few.”

Proverbs 10:19
“When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise.”
