According to the book Murphy’s Laws of Marriage, women’s suspicions about men and remote controls are true: there is a set of time- honored rules or guidelines that govern the relationship. For instance, 1) The remote is always lost. 2) Remotes attract other remotes. 3) Men believe that the remote control is God’s way of compensating them for the missing rib. 4) Even when the TV isn’t on, the man likes to hold the remote.
