God is not guilty of sin, but we still feel anger toward him.

A. Why we get angry.
1. They blame Him for all human tragedy.
(Jewish tailor asks God to forgive his little sins of cheating on
cloth, and he will forgive God for his big sins of letting babies
die.)
2. They resent Him for not allowing a loved one to live.
3. They are angry with Him for creating them with flaws.
(Author is a stuttering preacher.)

B. To reconcile with God.

C. Breaking down the barriers.
1. The barrier of silence. (Psalm 22)
2. The barrier of resentment.
3. The barrier of forgetfulness.

D. Do you choose bitterness or trust?
Bitterness – old man in nursing home has cancer and wants to die.
Has no use for God because his mother got ill once.
Trust – couple with daughter with cerebral palsy has baby boy who dies.
They choose to have peace with God. Through daughter they have a
ministry with other parents. (as told by Ann Kiemel.)

[Followed by spiritual questionnaire on whether we harbor resentment toward God and a prayer to release it.]
