A Second-Half Challenge

God didn’t give you a first birth so that you could be a failure. If you are a Christian, then He didn’t give you a second birth so that you should be a spiritual failure. In either case, if we fail, we didn’t live up to the potential God had in mind for us.

Phil. 1:6 (NLT) says, “And I am sure that God, who began the good work within you (starting with both births), will continue His work until it is finally finished on that day when Jesus Christ comes back again.” That’s His plan — to work within you,” if you’ll let Him. Don’t expect Him to do everything for you. We each have a responsibility to God to praise Him with our life by meeting our potential. You can do it?
